Hi there! My name is Liddy Wade, and I am a senior at the University of North Carolina. I’m currently majoring in Media and Journalism with a Composition, Rhetoric, and Digital Literacy Minor. I grew up in Richmond, VA, and my hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, and art. I’m very passionate about theatre and performance, including acting, directing, and choreography. Getting to work with such a welcoming and inclusive community is one of the best parts of theatre, as I love meeting new people and getting to explore the world around me.
“Creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones.”
Bruce Garrabrandt
Some of my favorite projects I’ve gotten to work on include being a podcast narrative writer in a group at Northeastern University. Directing and choreographing Heathers at UNC, choreographing both an ensemble and solo dance performance, and of course, getting to perform in several musicals and plays.
I have always had a hard time trying to identify exactly what my future holds. There are so many wonderful things to do with your life, and it can be hard to just pick one. As long as I’m able to spread positivity through my creativity and imagination, I know I’ll be happy.
